On Wednesday January 15th, Cycle Against Suicide will be hosting the 2014 Student Leaders’ Congress at the RDS in Dublin and we’d like your help in making this as memorable an event as possible.
The Congress aims to promote positive mental health and help-seeking behaviour in young people as well as conveying our message that it’s ok not to feel ok and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help. This is a first-of-its-kind event that will see over 4,000 young people from secondary schools all around the country coming together to help break the stigma attached to mental health issues.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us on the day, whether it’s by pointing attendees in the right direction, handing out t-shirts, sticking up posters, or any other one of a wide variety of tasks. If you’re free at any time between 10am and 3pm on January 15th, even if it’s only for an hour, we’d love to welcome you on to our team.
Please contact Colin Bradley to see how you can become a volunteer for this special event by e-mailing email@example.com. More information on the Student Leaders Congress is available by checking out the dedicated page for the event here.
