The momentum is starting to build now. With each new Spin Off and community we engage with more people are joining a conversation we all desperately need to have. It’s ok not feel ok. It’s ok to fell ok. It’s ok to feel terrible. It’s ok to feel great. But it is not ok to ignore the fact that we all experience a range of emotions and it is absolutely not ok to fail to acknowledge the vital role that mental health plays in our overall well-being. This community, our community, can lead this conversation. We can take mental health issues from the silence and shadows in which they thrive into the light and vitality of open discourse.
On October 18th at 12 noon we will continue to spread our message in Dungarvan Co.Waterford. We will cycle shoulder to shoulder on a controlled 50km spin leaving St Joseph’s Primary School heading towards Villerstown for a short sos beag before returning to Dungarvan town.
Registration is now open on line or you can register on the day between 9.30 and 11.30.
A compulsory safety briefing will be given at 11.30 sharp.
On our return to Dungarvan we will have some light refreshment, a bit of music and a mental well-being event with our Cycle against suicide ambassadors .
