Thanks to everyone who attended the 2017 Student Leaders’ Congress at University of Limerick. This year’s guests included former Connacht rugby coach, Pat Lam, Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People, Helen Mc Entee and Ombudsman for Children, Dr. Niall Muldoon. Entertainment was provided by The Strypes and Orla Gartland.

We’re extremely grateful to our primary sponsors, University of Limerick, for their support in making our biggest Congress yet such a success #StudyAtUL.
The aim of the Student Leaders’ Congress is to promote positive mental health, help-seeking behaviour in young people, and the Cycle Against Suicide message that ‘It’s OK not to feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help’.
The Congress brings together young adults and teachers from all over the island of Ireland in an inspiring and energetic forum comprising celebrity speakers, live entertainment, discussion and much more.
Very much a student-led event, a large portion of the day involves students: discussing projects they have engaged with, providing entertainment, conducting peer interviews and interacting with a range of mental health organisations exhibiting on the day.
