In Northern Ireland, suicide is a major public health issue. Families and communities should not have to tolerate such avoidable tragedy and despair. Action at an early stage is core to the effective care of those of us at risk.
On Saturday September 14th Cycle Against Suicide in collaboration with local families and communities throughout Omagh will host ‘The Cycle of Hope’. The aim of this campaign/cycle is to break down the barriers that stop people reaching out for help and to promote a key message to local people throughout Omagh that:
‘It’s OK not to feel OK; and it is absolutely OK to ask for help’. This simple yet powerful message could save the lives of those in our communities who are feeling hopelessness or alone.
The cycle will start from Drumragh Integrated College in Omagh.
Registration opens at 08:30 with the spin off starting at 10:30
